“Venus is about what we love and who we love,” says Donna Page, an Atlanta-based professional astrologer with a graduate degree in counseling psychology. “The energy this month is, ‘Let's connect with people and do things that are enjoyable.’” As the summer winds down and Virgo season transitions into Venus-ruled Libra season on the 23rd, this harmonious energy will only intensify, Page says. Expect smooth sailing in all your relationships.

It may be a low-drama month, but that's not to say there are no important astrological happenings in September. A few dates to note include the new moon in Virgo on the 14th; Mercury, the planet of communication, ending its retrograde on the 15th; and a full moon in fiery Aries on the 29th. All of these events will translate to easier communication and fewer hiccups, especially in romantic relationships. This is a perfect month to spend some quality time with the one you love, or put yourself out there and open your heart to new connections, Page adds.
